DeKalb Community Safety and Health Day, will take place Sunday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Masonic Temple Building, 402 Fairview Drive, DeKalb.
The Community Safety and Health Day is an event to answer any police safety, fire safety, and health questions. The masons will provide family identification kits free of charge.
The City of DeKalb’s Police and Fire Departments along with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, DeKalb County Health Department, and Masons will be on hand to discuss many safety and health tips. Displays of a Police Car, an Ambulance, a Fire Truck, and most likely a K9 officer will be there.
The Masons will provide free hot dogs from 11:30 a.m. until they run out. This event is free to the community.
