Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold their May membership meeting Wednesday, May 13, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meeting will be held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m. and meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m..
Guest speakers for this month’s meeting will be Mike Nelson, director of community events, for the City of Aurora, and Felicia Freitag, manager of the Aurora Farmers Market. Guests are always welcome!
Our Club’s May “Meet and Greet”, to expose our Club and our mission, will be held Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Panera Bread, 369 Randall Road, in South Elgin.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, and healthy meal planning, while enjoying a great coffee.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley’s 4th Annual “Tee Off to Defeat Diabetes” Golf Outing and Banquet is being held Saturday, June 6, at Bliss Creek Golf Course, 1 Golf View Road, in Sugar Grove, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. We’ve put together a complete golf outing package. Only $175 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, golf cart, goody bag, and a great steak dinner! Not a golfer…why not attend the golf banquet? Steak dinner, door prizes, basket raffles, and 50/50 cash drawing! Dinner follows golf at 5 p.m.. Tickets: $50 per person.
Why not become a hole sponsor: Gold $500, silver $400, bronze $300, or put your name or business on our Friends of DCFV Sponsorship Banner for $150.
