Padres Líderes Activos de Aurora (Active Parent Leaders from Aurora) invites everyone to participate in a community meeting and resource fair Saturday May 23, at Wesley United Methodist Church 14 N. May St. Aurora. A meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the resource Fair from 10 a.m. through to 12:30 p.m.. Food and childcare will be provided.
Padres Líderes Activos de Aurora (Active Parent Leaders from Aurora) is a group of parents in Aurora working to create positive changes in the Aurora community. This group was trained by Community Organizing and Family Issues (COFI) on community outreach and action where parents surveyed 100 Aurora residents to find out what residents think about their community and what they would like to see happen to make Aurora a better place to live for them and their families.
