Poem: A Cure For Almost Anything

Right now, if what we all are going through has you
About to blow a fuse for being bored to tears,
Your routines long since gone, not knowing what to do,
May I suggest a resolution to your fears.
If what I’ve said above is accurate, I’m sure
That after some consideration I’m not daff.
Because, to me, it’s rather simple, for the cure
Is just because you have forgotten how to laugh.
For I was taught to laugh at an adversity,
For if I find that I can laugh, it serves me well,
Preventing it from gaining strength, controlling me.
