The City of Aurora and RiverEdge Park, 360 N. Broadway in downtown Aurora, will have for two more free World Cup Viewing Parties Sunday, July 5 and Monday, July 6! Watch the action live on the big screens, bring your friends, blankets, and bag chairs, and get ready for two more huge nights at the park:
Mexico vs. England, Sunday, July 5. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and kickoff will be 7 p.m.. Broadcast is in Spanish via Telemundo
U.S. vs. Belgium: Monday, July 6. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and kickoff will be 7 p.m.. Broadcast in English
More than 7,500 people attended the first viewing party for Mexico vs. Ecuador on June 30, followed by U.S. vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina July 1. RiverEdge Park will host a free Watch Party for the World Cup Championship Match Sunday, July 19. Gates open at noon. Kickoff will be 2 p.m..
During each viewing party, RiverEdge Park Beverage Pavilions will be open, offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. Food trucks and the Park’s concession stand will also be open. Visitors can also bring their own food and water in coolers no larger than 12” by 12” by 12”. There is no limit on the amount of unopened, sealed water bottles that attendees can bring into the park. Empty, reusable water bottles are also welcome, with the Park offering refill stations near the new restroom building.
