Aurora Lions Club will offer free youth vision exams for children ages six months to 16 years old, from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. Saturday, July 11 at Family Focus’ back-to-school fair at 1444 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora.
The public is invited. Registration is not required. Walk-ins are welcome.
Trained Lions volunteers use a handheld Plusoptix S12 camera to check eye health of kids for near-sightedness, far-sightedness, blurred vision, lazy eye, eye misalignment, unequal refractive power and cataracts or corneal scars.
On the third Saturday of each month, Lions volunteers offer free youth vision exams from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Santori Aurora Public Library, 101 S. River St. in Aurora. Registration is not required.
