Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley held their July membership meeting July 8, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Guests in attendance were Lucy Reinhart and CoCo Orlowski, who marched with members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley in Aurora’s Fourth of July Parade, handing out frisbees to over seven hundred children along the parade route.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley’s July “Meet and Greet”, organized by media chairperson, Ann McBride, to expose our Club and our mission, was held July 11, at the Aurora Farmers Market, “Christmas in July”, in downtown Aurora.

Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will host our first “Craft & Vendor Fair”, Saturday, Sept. 12, at Rosary High School Gymnasium, 901 N. Edgelawn Drive, in Aurora, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Single 8-foot x 8-foot booth space is $45. Multiple spaces can be purchased. All proceeds will help fight diabetes! Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley work together, to provide diabetes awareness in the Fox Valley area, while raising funds to provide aid and education for diabetics, along with investing in research to find a cure.
