Aurora Lions vision exams

Aurora Lions Club will offer adults free vision and hearing exams Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at VNA Health Care parking lot, 400 N. Highland Ave., Aurora. Registration is not required.

Trained Aurora Lions volunteers will conduct exams in a mobile screening unit provided by the DeKalb-based Lions of Illinois Foundation. The screening unit detects vision issues including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, detached retina and retinitis pigmentosa.

There will be an additional screening Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Santori Aurora Public Library, 101 S. River St. in Aurora. The services is for children ages six months to 16 years old will be from Registration is not required.
