A box turtle from Aurora’s Phillips Park zoo watches a visitor to Aurora’s Farmer’s Market Saturday. Other animals showcased by zookeepers were a chicken and Lions-head rabbits. Zoo animals will visit the market from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturdays through October 17 at Water Street Square, 65 S. Water Street in Aurora. The zoo is closed until the State enters Phase 5. Animals and zookeepers are stationed outside the market area in a grassy area east of the market’s main entrance. Safety measures, including social distancing and capacity limits, are administered. Visitors to the market and zoo display must wear face coverings. Al Benson/The Voice
