Poem: A Conscious Thought

These lines that I’m about to write
May not have any good insight,
But thinking by itself is not
You see one practicing a lot.
Oh yes, they think–of what to do,
Of things they now must follow through,
Of what is coming up ahead,
Of drastic measures they will dread.
But simply to sit back and muse
Is not a practice they will use.
But take a moment… think a bit,
Where do the feats of dreamers fit?
Where would our world be had they not
Played ‘What in” on their minds a lot?
So sitting back, let mind run free
Will always make good sense to me!
