The Oswego Public Library District will offer adult programs this month, including:
• Medicare Can Be Confusing, Oswego Campus Library, 32 West Jefferson Street, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9.
Liliana Rubiano, of the Existential Insurance Senior Services, will present a free educational seminar to get everyone up to speed on what Medicare covers, what it doesn’t, and the potential out of pocket expenditure. She will discuss supplements, advantage plans, Part D and cost strategies. Registration is required.
• Get Crafty and October Faux Pumpkins, Montgomery Campus Library, 1111 Reading Drive, Montgomery, 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10.
All skill levels are welcome to make handmade crafts with upcycled materials. To ensure there will be enough supplies, please register in advance. Everyone can get in the Halloween spirit with decoupage, or, paint pumpkins. Mini-pumpkins will be provided, but we encourage participants to bring their own. We will not be carving pumpkins.
