It’s We, the People who have made this land;
With energy and enterprise we stand.
Long may our Land be bright,
With Freedom’s Holy light,
Where pride and Liberty go hand-in-hand!
The greatness we’ve achieved, which one can see,
Deservedly belongs to that word: We!
For what we have achieved
Can hardly be believed,
Compared to anything in history!
But here is what and why all this began—
Most everything we’ve done promoted Man.
Not government or singular dictate,
The betterment of mankind carried weight.
All this like being a celestial plan!
This must be said, and said for all to face;
NOT ONE invention ever singled race!
And any such attempt
Should meet with sheer contempt;
The pride of who WE are our saving grace.
