• I am very grateful that no one in my family or circle of friends was diagnosed with COVID-19.
• I was able to keep my job during the shutdown.
• We had plenty of rain this year. I had a good crop in my fields.
• The kids are back in school!
• I thank you every day for the Quran you sent to me in prison.
• I am thankful senior citizens get a property tax assessment exemption and a future freeze. I am grateful churches are open again
• My daughter was born healthy and beautiful.
• My landlord hired me to help him while I was unemployed. I still have a place to live and can feed my family.
• I won a victory in court. I will have a new trial. I thank God for DNA technology.
• Although I didn’t lose as much weight last year as I did the year before, I didn’t gain all of it back, either.
• My sister survived her stroke and is recovering well.
• My wife’s life insurance was enough to give her a modest funeral. Thank you to the friends who helped me through this terrible time in my life. I miss (her) deeply.
• In spite of the shut-down, we finally got our mortgage paid off on time.
• This may sound bad, but I am grateful my daughter went to jail for (information withheld by Grandpa). Now she can get the help she needs.
• I am glad that we can again buy toilet paper.
• A big thank you (a major retailer) for making the decision to be closed on Thanksgiving Day. This is the first time in their history to do this. I can finally spend the Holiday with my family!
• Gasoline prices were low enough this past Summer that I could afford to get to work and save money.

• My husband continued working through the shutdown.
• I was diagnosed with a terminal illness. I am grateful for each and every day I have left to live.
• I am grateful to the Aurora Fire Department for being able to salvage as much of my home as it did.
• I am glade that I quit smoking this past year, twice!
• My son was honorably discharged from (military) and is now home to be able to rejoin the family.
• President Donald Trump and his wife survived their bouts with COVID-19.
• We had to limit the number of guests at my daughter’s wedding. The virus saved us a lot of money.
• My ex-wife is locked up in a mental institution and can’t hassle me any more.
• I found a good job in my field.
