The latest edition of the Aurora Area Go Guide is available in print and online which highlights attractions and events within the 10 communities served by the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (AACVB).

“We’re optimistic that once leisure travel can safely resume, the Aurora Area will stand out as an attractive destination,” said James Cardis, director of marketing at the Aurora Area CVB. “We anticipate solo, family, and small group travel to be the first to rebound, followed closely by sports events and tour groups, all of which are vital to the success of the tourism industry for the Aurora Area.”

With the intent to inspire future travel, the Aurora Area Go Guide features sections highlighting the 10 communities served by the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (AACVB), and a two page spread at the front of the book providing potential visitors with a list of “12 Ways to #EnjoyAurora” that includes seeing an award winning Broadway show at the Paramount Theatre, shopping at Chicago Premium Outlets, sampling Illinois wines at Fox Valley Winery in Oswego, visiting the Farnsworth House in Plano, and paddling on the Fox River.

The Aurora Area CVB publishes the Aurora Area Go Guide in quantities of 40,000 copies each year. Half of these are distributed through a network of more than 350 hotels and travel information kiosks throughout Chicagoland, while the other half are reserved for Illinois Welcome Centers, tourist information centers, Aurora area businesses and attractions, and direct mailed.
