Aurora Police Department officers will climb rooftops at three Aurora Dunkin’ locations Friday, May 19, in a fundraiser to support Special Olympics Illinois Coffee for Champions (formerly Cop On Top).
From 5 a.m. to noon, officers will be at Dunkin’ locations at 1255 N. Farnsworth Avenue, 1237 N. Eola Road, and 2380 S. Eola Road, all in Aurora.
The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.
Assisting with collecting donations and selling T-shirts and raffle tickets will be volunteers from Citizens Police Academy of Aurora Alumni, a civilian support group.
Customers who donate to Special Olympics Illinois will receive a coupon for a free doughnut.
Donors giving $10 or more will receive a coupon for a free coffee and a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug, while supplies last.
