Aurora Lions Club members learned about a local mental health resource Thursday, Aug. 1.

Dana Pavlu, clinic director at Ellie Mental Health, 1315 N. Highland Ave. in Aurora, was guest speaker at the Lions’ bi-weekly meeting at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.3

Pavlu said Ellie therapists believe everyone should have access to top-notch therapy. Ellie’s primary focus is helping adults and children manage everyday stress by using non-traditional approaches, humor and out-of-the box thinking and creativity to help clients and their communities be their best.
