Aurora Noon Lions give to Hesed House

Celebrating its second century of community service, Aurora Noon Lions Club members gave twice to Hesed House homeless shelter in Aurora Thursday, March 23.

Led by Susan Koepke, Noon Lions president, a Lions delegation presented a $1,000 donation to Joe Jackson, Hesed House executive director.

Then Noon Lions prepared and served lunch to about 150 Hesed men and women guests.

After lunch, Hesed House volunteer coordinator Adam Zapfel led a tour of the facility for Lions.
