Under City Code Sec. 29-30, the use or possession of fireworks is prohibited. Fines can reach $1,000, and property owners may also face serious penalties.
Report illegal fireworks by calling 311 or 630-256-4636 if outside City limits, online at www.aurora.il.us/311, or by calling 911 if the situation threatens the safety of persons or property.
Yard signs are now available. Residents can call 311 to request one.
