The annual Aurora Pride Parade wasn’t possible so the group Aurora, IL Pride organized a 2020 Aurora Pride Drive which started at Indian Trail and Star Grass Lane on Aurora’s far West Side going past 37 participating residences, businesses, and houses of worship decorated to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community. Decorations at each stop included rainbow colors and a box accepting non-perishable donations benefiting the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry. For those feeling adventurous, there was a bonus route to Shorewood. Participants could find the map at the AuroraPride.org website and could travel the full route or in parts in any order. Many participants decorated their vehicles. Jason Crane/The Voice
