Aurora Public Library District benefit for Bookmobile

Everyone is invited to join the Aurora Public Library District (APLD) and Foundation for a riveting night of fun, a silent auction, and entertainment Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Santori Library, 101 S. River Street, Aurora. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment will be from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m..

Please help us celebrate the decades that a Bookmobile has served Aurora by dressing in your favorite era from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s through today.

A dueling piano show performed by Ted Oliver Productions will keep you entertaineds while you enjoy great food and an open bar.

Participants can complete their holiday gift-giving while they participate in an exciting silent auction. Premium theme baskets will be available to bid on during the event.

Proceeds will benefit a new Bookmobile to serve Aurora and literacy packets for Aurora’s vulnerable children.

The new Bookmobile is in the design phase. The cost to construct the Bookmobile is $2.75 per mile…and mile by mile, it delivers literacy and transforms lives! The Bookmobile is the Bridge to Hope for many!
