The Aurora Public Library will close all Library locations effective 6 p.m. March 17 through April 5, 2020 in response to COVID-19 (coronavirus). A state of emergency was declared by Aurora mayor, Richard Irvin, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our community and our staff members are our top priority.
Please be assured that for the past few weeks we have been actively monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 disease. We’ve been in constant contact with the City as well as other agencies and libraries. At this time, there are no indications that any of our locations are affected. These safety measures are as a precaution, not due to any known exposure.
We encourage everyone to use the Library’s online resources including ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, and databases for homework help.
This situation is constantly-evolving and we will continue to monitor and adjust our plan as things develop. For any updates and to find information regarding coronavirus please visit aurorapubliclibrary.org/Coronavirus
Thank you for your support and helping us to minimize the potential spread of this virus.
