For the first time in more than two years, the Aurora Regional Fire Museum will expand its operational hours.
Summer hours at the Fire Museum will run through Labor Day. During this time, the Museum will expand its hours to include Wednesdays. The Museum will be open for visitors to tour and explore each Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Summer at the Fire Museum will provide an opportunity for more families to visit the Museum and learn about fire history and fire safety. Board president Jim Rhodes stated that the “addition of a Children’s Discovery Room and Education Room over the last few years we have transformed the exhibits visitors experience when visiting the Museum and has led to significant increases in our visitation.”
