Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club passes the Charter

The Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club passes the Charter! On the evening of June 29 at the Cheshire Club House in Prestbury, Joe Kosner, left, out-going president of the Rotary Club, passes the Club’s Charter to Ryan Ivemeyer, right, in-coming president, for the year 2022-2023. The Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club was chartered August 26, 1993. The Club’s focus has been the Aurora youth and youth at risk, and is known throughout the district for its foreign exchange program. Three to as many as six Aurora high school students are sent to a foreign country for a cultural and educational exchange for 11 months. Their homes are host to two inbound students from foreign countries for the same time. The Club meets at Mother’s Restaurant on West Galena in Aurora every Wednesday morning at 7 a.m..
