Aurora! It’s that holly jolly time of year to bring the family to downtown Aurora and help light up for the holiday season at the 2024 Winter Lights Fest, Friday, Nov. 22, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., downtown Aurora.
The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Downer Place and Water Street and head west on Downer Place to River Street!
The Christmas tree-lighting will commence immediately following the parade at the GAR Memorial Hall, 23 E. Downer Place, with a community countdown before flipping the big switch!
The drone show will then light up the night sky over the downtown!
After the drone show there will be free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Paramount School of the Arts; music and dancing with DJ Suavesmooth!; live music at the Millennium Plaza Gazebo on Stolp Avenue; food trucks and food vendors on Stolp Avenue!
