Mayor of Aurora, Richard Irvin, right, wears a Jedi Master costume from the Star Wars franchise and poses with a couple of Stormtroopers in a car at Aurora’s first trick or treat drive-through in Phillips Park Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31. Mayor Irvin came up with the idea to create a safe environment for children to receive candy during the pandemic. There were approximately 50 volunteers, mostly city of Aurora government employees in a variety of costumes to hand out 4,500 bags of candy. The 1,500 allotment of vehicle reservations was completed in one day. D. J. Suave Smooth provided the spooky sounds of Halloween music for the three-hour event. Jason Crane/The Voice
