The Batavia Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that they are once again hosting the Eye on Aging event Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lincoln Inn Banquets, 1345 S. Batavia Avenue, Batavia.
All are welcome to attend this event, focused on planning a successful retirement and creating an intentional, healthy aging strategy. By visiting vendor booths, you can discover local resources, interact with experts, and gain valuable information to help you and your family.
Breakout presentations will tackle various aspects of aging well. The topics address estate planning, financial planning, aging in place and downsizing. Also being covered are safety at home, physical fitness, and advocating for seniors at the state legislative level. This isn’t just for seniors; this event is geared to those in their forties and up who want to age healthy and happy. Care partners and soon-to-be care partners will find useful information as well.
There is no cost to attend. A cash bar and complimentary appetizers will be available, and all attendees will receive a tote bag (while supplies last) and a raffle ticket to win $100 in Batavia Chamber Bucks.
Besides the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, event sponsors currently are Dorjath Law Center, Assisting Hands Home Care, Covenant Living at the Holmstad, The Landings, Precisely Practical, and Physical Therapy Advantage.
