A habitat restoration work day will be held at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve from 9 a m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 25. We will be cutting and stacking invasive brush. Tools are provided, but feel free to bring your favorite loppers and hand cutters.
Bliss Woods is a beautiful, high-quality woodland hosting many unusual plants.
Removing invasive species will help sustain its unique nature.
Please wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes and work gloves. We will meet at the parking lot of Templo Belen at 42W635 Kadeka Road in Sugar Grove.
Refreshments will be available at the break. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. For further information please email Mary Ochsenschlager at maryoxie@sbcglobal.net or call Robb at the Kane County Forest Preserve at 630 232-5980.
