A habitat restoration work day will be held at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 28.

Gathering and spreading seeds and cutting invasive brush will be on the agenda. Tools will be provided, but feel free to bring tools.

Bliss Woods is a beautiful, high-quality woodland is host to many unusual plants.

Removing invasive species will help sustain its unique nature. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, work gloves, and sturdy shoes.

We will meet in the main parking lot. Bliss Woods entrance is on Bliss Road, just east of Route 47 in Sugar Grove. Refreshments will be available at the break. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
