Chicago blues legend, Buddy Guy, will be the headline act with a killer lineup of longtime favorites and fresh new blues talent at the 24th Annual Blues on the Fox Festival, Friday and Saturday, June 19-20 at Thomas J. Weisner RiverEdge Park in downtown Aurora.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd will be the Friday evening, June 19 headliner with opener Southern Avenue to start suburban Chicago’s largest Summer blues festival, on the banks of the scenic Fox River. Gates will open at 6 p.m. Southern Avenue will start at 7 p.m..
Buddy Guy will be the Saturday, June 20 starring act, with Billy Branch, Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers, and Melody Angel to pave the way for a full day of live blues music. Gates will open at 2 p.m.. Melody Angel will open Saturday’s bill at 3 p.m..
Tickets are on sale, online only, at RiverEdgeAurora.com. Phone and in-person sales will start at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24. Early-bird discount tickets are just $15 per day, through May 31. Tickets will be $25 per day June 1 and on-site. Fees are not included.
