As the City of Aurora government honors Hispanic Heritage Month, mayor Richard Irvin recognized three entrepreneurs with the Mayor’s Award of Excellence. All graduates from Aurora high schools, the business owners were honored for opening their businesses in Aurora, investing in their community, following their dreams, and giving our youth examples to do the same. Congratulations to, from left, Jaime Rodriguez, owner of El Paso Mas Grande grocery store; Brandon Rodriguez, owner of Paradise Tattoo Shop; and Daniel Cuevas, new owner of Banana Split.
