Cocoa Crawl mugs are going quickly. Now is the time to purchase mugs and buttons for the popular event before they are gone. They are currently sold out at some locations.
Aurora Downtown’s Cocoa Crawl encourages those with mug in hand and button on coat to visit a variety of participating venues and sample hot chocolate during First Fridays December 6. Much like last year, the sought-after mugs are selling fast.
To enjoy the second annual Cocoa Crawl, guests must purchase both a blue Cocoa Crawl mug and button, both designed by Stephanie Wheatley from Aurora Fastprint.
The $5 button will act as a ticket to the event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. A Cocoa Crawl mug is required and can be purchased for $5 as a ceramic, campfire mug, or, for $10 as a travel mug with lid, at eight locations in downtown Aurora.
Buttons are not required for ages five and under, who may use their own Cocoa Crawl mug or share with a parent.
Mugs and buttons will be available until they are sold out. Mug and button quantities are limited for this event.
Hot cocoa sampling is unlimited at no additional cost with your button and Cocoa Crawl mug. Please note that quantities vary at participating locations.
On December 6, First Fridays will be open at multiple venues with art, music, and more. Two trolleys will give free trolley rides throughout the evening. A handful of food trucks will be stationed at the rear of Water Street Square.
Mugs and buttons can be purchased at the following locations: Aurora Regional Fire Museum, 53 N. Broadway; The Cotton Seed Creative Exchange, 8 N. Broadway; Art and History Center, 20 E. Downer Place; Endiro Coffee, 29 W. New York Street; SciTech Hands On Museum, 18 W. Benton Street; Tredwell Coffee, 14 W. Downer Place, Suite 18; Warehouse 55, 55 S. Lake Street; Wyckwood House, 14 W.
