The popular “Coffee with Kifowit” series of get-togethers, presented by State representative Stephanie Kifowit, will return in person beginning Monday, April 25 in the Meeting Room of the Oswego Library, 111 Reading Drive, Montgomery.
“The Spring session of the General Assembly has wrapped up, and that gives me the chance to do something as important as what we do in Springfield,” said Kifowit. “That is to listen to what is on the minds of the citizens, the constituents, in a fun and informal setting.”
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and a live chat will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.. Coffee and pastries will be provided during a visit that gives participants the opportunity to receive updates, ask questions, and get to know their State representative.
“This is really a great opportunity for me to meet my friends and neighbors from the 84th District and surrounding areas,” said Kifowit. “There is no better way to connect than to do it in person, over a cup of coffee. The exchange of ideas and conversation is so valuable for me and the people that attend. Maybe the most important part of these programs is that it is fun!”
For those who can’t make, they can watch on “Coffee with Kiffy” Facebook Live from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. each week Monday morning at www.facebook.com/ILDistrict84.
