Poem: Cowboy Philosophy

Share this article:

“Never get mad at them who know more than you do,
It ain’t their fault.” An old authentic Cowboy quip,
Who had something to say about all that they went through,
Quite succinct in the wording, like a verbal whip!

Of course, some are, like this: “Don’t squat with your spurs on!”
Directly meant for those most always 0n a horse;
Its logic though may easily be dwelt upon;
And succinct humor always is the strongest course.

Not always must philosophy be not your own’
The ‘dos and don’ts’ in life are never fully filled.
Besides that, like the cowboy’s, good ones are home grown;
Which means that each and every one has been self-willed!
