The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley (DCFV) held another successful “Mini Fundraiser” Jan. 16, at Paisano’s Pizza & Grill, in Sugar Grove and Elburn. The members of DCFV send a shoutout of thanks to Paisano’s, for donating 15% of their sales back to our Diabetes Club.
Mark your calendar to save Saturday, Feb. 1, for our club’s “Do Good with CHIPOTLE Fundraiser”, 1480 N. Orchard Road, in Aurora, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m..
DCFV fundraising chairperson, Jenny McCain, has arranged for our Club to receive 25% of each sale, however, you must show our flyer if ordering in the restaurant, or, use code GHPTNYQ if ordering online for pickup.

Diabetes Club of Fox Valley members will hold their February membership meeting Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meeting will be held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m. and meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
Our Club’s February “Meet and Greet”, organized by media chairperson, Ann McBride, to expose our Club and our mission, will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Atrevete Cafe 1888, 504 Lincoln Avenue, on the new Bloomhaven campus.
This historic site was home to the original Copley Hospital, built in 1888, and is the second site of popular Atrevete Confections*, in neighboring Montgomery.

Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley work together, to provide diabetes awareness in the Fox Valley area, while raising funds to provide aid and education for diabetics, along with investing in research to find a cure. Eat healthy, stay active, and have a yearly blood test, to stay diabetes-free!
