The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley members will hold their February membership meeting Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meeting will be held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m. and meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will welcome two new members into the Club, at it’s February membership meeting: Gilbert (Gil) Feliciano, from the VNA and Emily Hamaker, a graphic designer, from Arch Printing.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley was formed in October 2022 by 15 individuals who wanted to bring about an awareness of diabetes, provide aid, and education for diabetics, while investing in research to find a cure.
Today, the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley is more than 60 members strong, spreading the word about the dangers of uncontrolled blood sugar (glucose), which can cause vision problems, heart problems, nerve damage, dental problems, kidney damage, and more.
Why not eat healthy, stay active and have a yearly blood test to stay diabetes free?
Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold their February “Meet and Greet”, organized by media chairperson, Ann McBride, to expose our Club and our mission, Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Panera Bread, 1330 N. Orchard Road, in Aurora.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, healthy meal planning, and our “Recipes for Diabetics” booklet, while enjoying a tasty treat, and a great cup of coffee!

The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. A true grassroots organization, where all money raised through dues, donations and fundraising is used for the club’s fight against diabetes.
