Student of East Aurora High School, Alondra Limon, was awarded Cordogan Clark’s Built Environment.
Alondra Limon, a senior at East Aurora High School, was awarded the Cordogan Clark & Associates ‘Built Environment’ Scholarship. This $5,000 scholarship recognizes Alondra’s exceptional dedication to her education, community, and future career in engineering.
As an aspiring engineer dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainability, Alondra envisions creating spaces through positive change by preventing damage to the environment from building constructions. She aspires to have a career that operates behind the scenes, serving as an undercover hero in conservation. Her future plans include majoring in environmental engineering to become an environmental regulator.
Alondra’s dedication extends beyond academics, as evidenced by her part-time job and involvement in leadership roles, serving as co-chair of the Student Board, president of Science National Honor Society, and vice president of the National Honor Society. She volunteers with suicide prevention program, Simply Destinee. Her diverse interests include collecting plants, practicing sustainable fashion through thrifting, and chronicling her experiences and questions to her future self in a time capsule journal, a practice she has maintained since eighth grade.
The scholarship was presented to Alondra Limon by Richard Blair of Cordogan Clark, architects/engineers, during East Aurora High School’s recent Honors Night.
