State representative Stephanie Kifowit (D-Oswego) held her annual Kids Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Aurora Phillips Park Family Aquatic Center.
Free fun, educational activities and refreshments for families were offered.
Highlights included an Aurora Fire Department engine, IDOT cherry picker, helicopter from Superior Air-Ground Ambulance service, Fox Valley Park District tractor, skid Steer, dump truck, Eagle Karate Academy obstacle course, Scoop ice cream trailer, Brookfield Zoo ambassador animals, State Police K-9 unit demonstration and Kane County Sheriff’s Department rescue vehicle.
Local businesses and nonprofits sponsored information tables.
