Elgin Police Department (EPD) commemorates 2020 in a time capsule for EPDs future leaders to open in 2050. It was such an unprecedented year EPD wanted to share some of their memories, as well as a few pandemic items used daily. The capsule is displayed in their lobby in hopes it will one day bring a more personalized recollection to Elgin of an usual year in history. Elgin Police Department Facebook page
