Endiro Coffee was inducted into the Illinois Made class of Fall 2019 and was recognized for its complete tree-to-cup operation which began with coffee grown by women-led cooperatives in Uganda. This coffee is exported and brought to Illinois where Endiro roasts and brews it in its downtown Aurora café. Profits are dedicated to partnerships with community charities focused on ending child vulnerability in the communities of Uganda.
Illinois Made is a promotional campaign developed by the Illinois Office of Tourism. Visitors are invited to meet the makers, creators, artisans of Illinois—the craftspeople, artists, family-owned businesses, small-batch breweries, distilleries, foodies, and farmers who make Illinois thrive.
