Five Rosary High School athletes in the Class of 2021 have committed to continue their sports at the college level by signing National Letters of Intent at a ceremony this month in the School Library.
• Elyssa Brault of Geneva, daughter of Patricia and Mark Brault, will swim for Brown University in Providence, R.I.. She will study biochemistry and molecular biology.
• Peyton Dillon of Yorkville, daughter of Cristy and Jeff Dillon, will play softball for Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, Mo.. She will major in sports management.
• Jessica Geriane of North Aurora, daughter of Maria and Andrew Geriane, will swim for Notre Dame University in South Bend, Ind.. She will major in pre-med and sports medicine.
• Madelyn O’Brien of Oswego, daughter of Cathleen and Chris O’Brien, will play soccer for Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.. She will major in nursing.
• Isabella Pytel of Naperville, daughter of Pamela and Bruno Pytel, will swim for the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa.. She will major in biology.
A second signing ceremony will be held in the Spring when additional athletes make their decisions.
Rosary offers 10 competitive sports as well as a Rosary/Marmion cheerleading squad: Basketball, competitive cheerleading, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
