Fox Valley Brass Band members stand for John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever” Sunday, June 26, the finale in a salute to great brass music and America at Wesley United Methodist Church in Aurora. Director was Victor Anderson of North Aurora, music department chair and director of bands at Yorkville High School. Anderson announced an upcoming Summer pops series by the Fox Valley Orchestra at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, 1250 Wilson Street. The lineup is: “Calypso Summer, 3 p.m., July 10; “Broadway in Love,” 3 p.m., July 24; and “Rhapsody in Pops,” 3 p.m., Aug. 7. Tickets are $16-$28.
