Batavia Basketball Golf Outing July 13
The 18th annual Batavia High School basketball alumni golf outing will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, July 13 with a shotgun start at Bliss Creek Golf Course, formerly Prestbury Golf Course. The course is just off Bliss Road in Sugar Grove. The cost is $100. a person which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, polo shirt, and steak dinner. Lunch only is $35. and will be served at 2:30 p.m.. Registration deadline is Friday. Checks should be made out to Batavia Boys Basketball and sent to Jim Roberts, 226 S. Van Buren Street, Batavia, IL 60510. An indication of the polo shirt size should be included in the note with the check. The funds collected will help with expenses for the Batavia boys basketball team, which will begin play in the newly-formed DuKane Conference in the 2018-2019 season.

Golf outing for East Aurora July 19
The Aurora East Educational Foundation will be host to its 17th annual benefit golf outing Thursday, July 19, at the Phillips Park Golf Course, on Ray Moses Drive in Aurora, near the intersection of Hill Avenue and Montgomery Road.
The golf outing is a major fundraiser for the Educational Foundation and proceeds will help support educational projects and programs in East Aurora School District 131.
The entry fee for a single golf player begins at $125., or $450. for a foursome. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, gift packages, box lunch, refreshments all day, social hour, dinner, and prizes.
