Children’s fundraiser in Yorkville Nov. 30
The second annual toy drive/fundraiser for Ann & Robert H. Lurie’s Children’s Hospital of Chicago will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Rosati’s Pizza Pub of Yorkville, 1985 Marketview Drive, Yorkville.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy, to donate to a child in the Lurie’s Hospital for Christmas. Monetary donations will be accepted. Rosati’s will donate 10% of all sales.

Christmas Coffee Shoppe fundraiser Dec. 1
Flowing Forth United Methodist Church, 551 S. Fourth Street in Aurora, will have its first Christmas Coffee Shoppe fundraiser from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.
The public is invited. Admission and parking are free. Holiday crafts, a cookie walk and fudge shoppe, handmade crafts, gift baskets, a fudge shoppe, cookie walk, and handmade baskets will be among features.
The breakfast menu will include casseroles, muffins, coffee cakes, bagels, cinnamon rolls, fruit on a stick, coffee, and juice. Items will cost $1. each. A cookie walk to feature homemade holiday cookies for $7 per pound. Gift baskets, including chocolates, tea, coffee, and holiday items, will cost from $7 to $25.
Proceeds will help benefit United Methodist Women mission projects.

Naperville 5K Turkey Trot family fun
The Naperville Noon Lions will be host to its 21st annual 5K Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Day morning Thursday, Nov. 22, at 8 a.m.. It is a family-friendly, fun event that will begin at Naperville Central High School, 440 Aurora Avenue, in Naperville. Registration is available only at napervilleturkeytrot.com.
