Youth will be served.
The younger generation will push its way upward and onward. It is a fact of life.
Youth will grow into mature adults with stops along the way through adolescence, young adulthood, responsibility with maturity, and offer a start to the next generation.
Variations in life include disease, pestilence, and wars. The youth today across the globe have been forced to endure the COVID-19, other diseases and in Ukraine war wrought by Vladimir Putin. Wars of sorts have staggered through history and always will be threats. Nonetheless, the world points an accusatory finger at Putin for his unnecessary war.
Although there is an element of politics over the conduct of war in Ukraine by U.S. politicians, the divide politically in today’s society in the U.S. will seek accusations rather than real solutions.
War occurs one step at a time and often by accident. There is little doubt here that Putin is not looking for a way out. He will recede only if he is forced by circumstances world-wide and within Russia.
Youth was evident in St. Charles Saturday at the St. Patrick’s Day parade It was a greeting and a wave during the parade, a first sign of Spring, in essence. Even the cold weather Saturday was welcome, however, many dark jackets dampened otherwise excitement. Youth was evident in many other parts of the parade. Youngsters learn from the adults around them. Learning good habits is essential and should be taken seriously.
• Girl Scouts are a woven fabric of our society. Cookies are key to girls learning focus, business attitudes, and positive attitudes. Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois has added a bonus week of cookie sales. The sales were to end Sunday, March 20, however, an extra week, to end March 27 has been added. Inventory challenges were cited for the extra week for the young entrepreneurs. Girls Scouts of Northern Illinois is based n South Elgin. If good weather will cooperate. Tables will be in evidence outside stories for cookie sales. Tradition. Dedication. Caring.
Other notables:
• Spring officially will begin Sunday, March 20 which means many items to many of us, such as golf, outings, less clothing, longer daylight hours, and picnics, to name a few.
• St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, is a part of the attitude of Spring. See the information by Jo Fredell Higgins at thevoice.us/wearing-of-the-green-annual-tradition-on-st-patricks-day.
• The additional connection is wearing of green and Spring means green, planting, and recycling.
• Earth Day will be April 22 and Earth Week is just such an extension. Earth Day’s 52nd annual day will be Friday, April 22, and no longer brings a chuckle from those who do not understand we have one Earth to maintain and improve. We all can do a little to help. It starts with understanding and offering good practices, one step at a time.
•Youth depend on their future assisted by our good practices today and every day.
• Clear and Concise, Week 11 Year 3: Understanding words and their mean assist in proper expression. It should not be underestimated. In spite of the key work elected representatives offer and seek to be elected again, and we should offer respect, using the term the honorable is reserved for a judge in municipalities, counties, and courts, and not to be used for elected representatives. The main reason is to encourage judges to use good judgment which will earn and deserve the title of honorable.
