One-hundred raffle gift baskets will highlight “Santa Paws,” a 14th annual fundraiser by Geneva-based Starfish Animal Rescue next weekend.
The event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at Starfish’s intake facility at 204 Dearborn Ct. in Geneva.
The public is invited. Admission and parking are free. Included is a free lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs and chips. Other features are a bake sale and 50/50 raffle.
Information and applications for cat and dog adoptions will be available.
