A rally Saturday, Oct. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Randall Road and Gleneagle Drive in Geneva will be part of a national No Kings protest. The public is invited.
Co-sponsors are We Can Lead Change, Fox Valley Activists, Fox Valley Rising Indivisible, HIKE Indivisible and others.
An announcement said, “Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. No Kings is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon.
Donations to be collected at the rally for a local crisis center include: pull-ups (all sizes), baby shampoo, body wash, diapers (sizes 4, 6, 7), paper plates, paper bowls, disposable silverware, Kleenex, cookies (single servings), fruit cups (single servings), apple sauce (single servings) and chips (single servings).
