Gingerbread House Challenge

Messenger Public Library in North Aurora will be host to a Gingerbread House Challenge throughout November. Submissions will be accepted starting November 10 at the User Services desk. Submissions will close December 1. Submissions will be voted on at the Messenger annual Holiday Open House, Sunday, Dec. 4 starting at 1:30 p.m..

All ages are welcome to enter as individuals or families. Only one gingerbread house per person may be submitted. Gingerbread houses should be mounted on a stiff base no bigger than one square foot. Entries should be appropriate for all audiences and the Library reserves the right to photograph all entries. All entries will be placed in the display case at Messenger’s entrance. Submissions should be picked up December 4, or by the end of the day December 5.
