Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) will be host to its 20th annual Thin Mint Sprint fundraising 5K fun run/walk Saturday, Sept. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, in partnership with the Fox River Grove Memorial Library Running Club. The race route will begin and end at Lions Park, 747 S River Road, Fox River Grove, and will go along the scenic path along the Fox River. After-party event includes performances by School of Rock-Barrington, Kona Ice truck, Face Painting by Kema, inflatables, and other exhibitors!
Registration is $40 per person through September 13, and $45 per person on race day, September 14. Registration fee includes Thin Mint Sprint T-shirt, chipped-timing bib, medal, fun patch, box of official Girl Scout Thin Mints® Cookies, and extra swag items.
