Poem: God Will Save Me

I do not disapprove of having faith, as all you know;
But there must be a limit to how far your faith can go.
Your faith must not be super ceded by your common sense;
For God gave you Free Agency, and that holds precedence.
Your dictate “God will save me” may not be what you expect;
There will not be a miracle upon which to reflect.
So when you’re saved, it will be through the efforts others gave;
Sheer human effort will be there, attempting you to save.
So often,, what may seem to be an unrelated move
Will spell out life, delaying death, which other acts will prove.
God’s Hand in your ordeal may not be seen or recognized;
Your “God will save me” true to form anonymous, but wise!
