Last week the Fox Valley Trolley Museum in South Elgin was vandalized by two minors and there was $110,000 in damage to eight cars. The museum has created a GoFundMe page, www.gofundme.com/fox-river-trolley-museum, for those who are willing or wish to make donations to help cover the costs of these repairs.
As a small museum, we do not have the manpower or the funding that larger museums have to maintain their fleets and cover costs.
A special thank you to the South Elgin Police Department and our neighbors along the line for helping to catch the vandals.
